1. Reasonably arrange the "return to zero" route. When manually programming complex contour machining programs in Suzhou CNC machining, in order to simplify the calculation process and facilitate verification, programmers sometimes execute the "return to zero" operation instruction at the end point of each tool after machining,

Return all of them to the cutting point position, and then execute the subsequent program. Suzhou CNC machining will increase the distance of the feed path and reduce production efficiency.

Therefore, when arranging the "return to zero" route reasonably, the distance between the endpoint of the previous knife and the starting point of the next knife should be as short as possible or zero to meet the requirement of the shortest feed route.

In addition, when selecting the command to return to the cutting point, it is recommended to use the "return to zero" command in both x and z directions as much as possible without interference. This function has the shortest "return to zero" route.

2. Cleverly set up a tool change point. In order to consider the convenience and safety of tool changing, Kunshan Sai CNC machining sometimes sets the tool changing point at a distance from the blank. Therefore, when changing the second tool, the empty stroke path during precision machining is inevitably longer;

If the tool change point of the second knife is also set at the midpoint position, the empty stroke distance can be shortened.

The setting of the tool setting point A is based on the consideration of the need for convenient tool change during precision machining and other processing, so it is set at a position far away from the blank.
